Richard Stark, Editor of The Strong Horse Journal, is a Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

    He is a ten-year Navy veteran and former legislative intern in the office of then Wisconsin Representative, and later Senator, Dale Schultz. 

    He and his wife, Marcy, have three grown children--a son, Robin, and two daughters, Lianne and Alexandra. You can read about them in the Off Duty section, within the eight vignettes, or brief stories, of WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER - Reflections on the Dramas of Life.

    Richard and his family have made Woodbridge, Virginia, their home since 1990.
